Sophia FUNd

In 2011, three-year-old Sophia was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and sadly passed away in 2012 due to complications from her treatment. Her family launched The Sophia FUNd to support families facing pediatric cancer, raising awareness about the severe underfunding of childhood cancer research.

Bridget

Three years ago, Bridget was diagnosed with osteosarcoma after a soccer injury revealed a swollen ankle, leading to 40 weeks of chemotherapy and a below-the-knee amputation. Despite facing immense challenges, she built a support system at St. Jude's and is now disease-free, inspiring others with her resilience.

Greyson

At just 2 years old, Greyson was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare cancer affecting nerve tissue, and has undergone chemotherapy and radiation while maintaining his joyful spirit. His mother admires his resilience and hopes for more government funding for pediatric cancer research.

Charlie

At a young age, Charlie was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a brain cancer affecting her balance and coordination, leading to surgery, chemotherapy, and physical therapy. Her story highlights the struggles of childhood cancer and the urgent need for increased funding and treatments beyond the 4% currently allocated to pediatric cancer research.
